I am delighted and honored to announce that, as of August 1, 2026, I will be appointed Assistant Professor in New Testament Studies at the Protestant Theological University in Utrecht! Within the Chair of New Testament, I will be responsible for teaching New Testament Greek and Biblical Theology in the Bachelor’s and Pre-Master’s programmes. My research will focus primarily on the study of the Synoptic Gospels in their ancient Jewish contexts, in national, international and interdisciplinary research collaborations. Since I have been affiliated with the Protestant Theological University in the past (2020-2022), among other roles as a postdoctoral researcher, I am highly looking forward to join the ranks of the PThU again.
