Teaching

In diverse capacities at different universities, I have instructed various courses in the area of Jewish Studies, the New Testament/early Christianity, Biblical Hebrew, and Koine Greek. From seminar, lecture, and practicum formats, both in-person and hybrid, I have refined my craft as an instructor and developed a broad repertoire of teaching materials. The goal of my teaching is to convey the vibrancy of the Jewish and Christian tradition to my students. By means of well-structured courses, stimulating reading and translating assignments, and challenging questions, I motivate them to deepen their knowledge, to put the relevant skills and methodologies to work, and to continue their explorations on their own.
